ABOUT DR. PETE
I knew at a young age that working with animals was my calling. From volunteering at the local humane society, adopting and fostering kittens, and caring for countless reptiles, there weren't many days that I didn't have some contact with a pet.
After graduating from the University of Maryland I spent 3 years at St. George's University and 1 year at Ohio State University where I earned my degree in Veterinary Medicine. I completed an internship in general and emergency medicine at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey. My training continued at several Hospitals in the Delaware Valley.
Currently, I am the Director of Emergency and Critical Care at Saint Francis Veterinary Hospital. I enjoy the challenge of diagnosing animal illnesses and implementing treatment plans that will improve the health of my patients. Staying current on the latest research and techniques allows me to use my skills to cure and extend the lives of pets that are critically ill or who have complex disease processes.
When I'm not working I enjoy traveling, jogging with my dog and rooting for my hometown sports teams! I look forward to helping you improve the life of your pet. Please do not hesitate to contact me.
